Vallarie Erickson and her husband Brian

My family has been involved with FMCA for many years. I became a member in 2011 when I purchased a class C Motorhome and have attended and volunteered for many Regional, RMMA and FMCA international rallies.
My husband Brian and I retired to Farmington, NM. In January of 2018 and purchased our second class A Diesel pusher in Gillette Wy at the FMCA international rally. We have enjoyed visiting many of the chapters of RMMA and made many new friends along with volunteering at region 1, RMMA and international rallies. We look forward to working with region 1 chapters to give them the support and tools they need to meet their goals.

COLORADO COLUMBINES

Picture
The Colorado Columbines Chapter of FMCA was formed on December 6, 1992 and currently has 33 members. Most of the members live on the Front Range of Colorado between Pueblo and Fort Collins, with one charter member still active in our chapter for the summer months who now resides in Texas. We gather for weekend campouts on the second weekend of each month (May-Sept) and then on the first weekend of October. Food is always plentiful at our campouts; however we do find time to socialize, play games, go on tours, make crafts, have bonfires, as well as relax. Usually there are 10-15 rigs in attendance and a good time is always had by all. We are a small chapter and are always on the lookout for “fun and friendly” folks to join us. Our yearly dues are only $21.00 per rig and our rally fees are $12.00 per person.

CUATRO ESTADOS
Cuatroestados.com
FACEBOOK: CUATRO ESTADOS FMCA CHAPTER

Picture
Thank you for your interest in our FMCA Chapter. We have " The Spirit of Adventure" and enjoy exploring the world around us. " Cuatro Estados" translates to "Four States," and most of our monthly rallies are usually held somewhere in the "Four Corners" states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah, and are usually about a week long. We have a good many full-timers too!
Most of us love exploring the back country and searching out great scenery, historical areas, and “off the grid” locations. Mostly via our tow vehicles (including some 4WD or AWD), but often via great hikes, and sometimes via water (kayaks) or bicycle. We have also held longer “caravan” trips through the “four states” region as well as other parts of the country, such as California and Texas. A few of us have spent most of the winter traveling together around Arizona & southern California, or summer traveling together for longer distance trips, such as Alaska or Newfoundland.

SMOKEY BEAR

SMOKEY BEAR Smokey Bear Chapter encompasses southern New Mexico and western Texas. The original Smokey Bear was saved after a forest fire around Capitan, New Mexico. That area is covered by our chapter. Our chapter was formed in 1975, and we currently have about a 50 coach membership. Our area is blessed with very nice weather year ‘round so we plan monthly rallies to close-by mountains, lakes and/or deserts. We have about 15-25 coaches at each rally. The rallies usually last 3 days with good meals, sight seeing, visiting local attractions and playing games. We publish monthly newsletters, keeping all members informed of chapter happenings. We welcome prospective members as guests at any of our rallies and a rally schedule is available to any prospective members.

The Southwest Sun Chasers Chapter was started during the fall of 2020 by a group of 18 like-minded RV campers (10 rigs) from the west Texas and southern New Mexico area.  We are based in El Paso, TX and have members from AZ, NM, and TX and welcome members from across the US and Canada. Our goal is to have at least twelve outings a year (one each month).  We welcome all types of RVs and all camping families. We generally have rallies in west Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. We have travelled to Angel Fire, Ruidoso, Mayhill, Cloudcroft, NM, Albuquerque, Rodeo, and Elephant Butte, NM; Tucson, Tombstone, Willcox, and Phoenix, Lyman Lake, AZ; San Antonio, Alpine, Lajitas, Fort Davis, and Fredericksburg, TX. We have travelled to Cheyenne, WY for the FMCA International Convention and Expo.  Our outings include attending rallies sponsored by FMCA (FMCA.com) and the Rocky Mountain Motorhome Association (rockymountainarea.com).  Our rallies are generally weekend outings with some members arriving a day or two early or staying a day or two later.  Our longer outings are generally planned around holiday weekends.
